About the Speaker

Kimberly Bardy Langsam Senior Program Director for the Advancement of Social Entrepreneurship (CASE) at Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business

As Program Director, Kim manages and contributes to many projects bringing together insights and hard-won advice from the social venture community to support the field in scaling more efficiently and effectively and understanding cost vs. impact. Her diverse international experiences have served to enrich her successful career in business and entrepreneurship.

Returning to Greensboro, she has strong roots in our local Jewish community having spent her childhood in Greensboro where she attended B’nai Shalom Day School, graduated from Grimsley High School, and had her Bat Mitzvah at Beth David Synagogue. Currently, her children, Leo and Maya are enjoying the camp experience at Camp Judaea like their mom had. Speaking of local roots, she is also the grandchild of Jan and Ralph Levy and Sara Lee and Sam Sachs and daughter of Arlene & Alan Bardy.
